In addressing the urban issues, including transportation, mobility, healthcare, education, security, environment, and building, Smart City Summit & Expo (SCSE) is jointly organized by Taipei Computer Association, Taipei City Government, and industry partners with an aim to present the one-stop IoT solutions tailored to the needs of the markets.

Through the networking of high-profile innovators and city leaders, this 4-year international exchange platform has initiated numerous cases of collaboration across industries and countries, while more opportunities have come along. With SCSE continues to grow as the biggest smart city event in Asia-Pacific, it never stops surprising the guests with wide international outreach, rich resources, and high diversity in participants.

This mega event is being advised by Board of Science and Technology, Executive Yuan Ministry of Economic Affairs, R.O.C. National Communications Commission and NCC Bureau of Foreign Trade, MOEA.

The 2018 SCSE is focused on a theme of “Build Smart Cities on the IoT” featuring various activities as follows

With an aim to elevate the professionalism of the event, the 2018 edition will debut new themes as subsidiary expos in collaboration with professional partners: Smart Healthcare Expo (SHE) Smart Education Expo (SEE Taipei) Intelligent Building Expo (IBE Taipei).
